AMT Medical (Beijing Advanced Medical Technologies) is a Chinese company focused on innovative medical technologies, specifically producing a medical carbon dioxide angiographic injector known as the Jetfall™ and bioabsorbable vascular stents by using its proprietary 3D Multi-Axial Printing (3D-MAP) technology.
Beijing Advanced Medical Technologies, Ltd. Inc. (AMT Medical) is a medical device company founded in 2011. The company is headquartered in Beijing, China. AMT Medical develops and manufactures fully bioresorbable coronary stents (AMSorb®) and peripheral stents (PeriSorb®) by using its proprietary 3D Multi-Axial Printing (3D-MAP) technology, which has advantages over the traditional laser cutting technology in producing bioresorbable vascular stents (BRS) in terms of high production efficiency and low cost. AMT Medical’s core 3D-MAP platform is a proprietary innovative additive manufacturing technology specialized for bioresorbable tubular vascular scaffolds. With this innovative technology, AMT Medical has been selected and listed as one of the “Model Enterprises in Additive Manufacturing” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China in the year 2023. AMT Medical has more than 41 Chinese, American, and European invention patents, and has three 3 approved Class III medical devices that are being marketed in China.
With its two products AMSorb® and PeriSorb® already in the clinical random controlled trials (RCT) in China, AMT Medical is set to revolutionize the manufacturing of bioresorbable stents in the medical device industry for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The peripheral stents have completed all clinical trial enrollment and are expected to obtain regulatory approval in 2026.
Another product, Jetfall, is a medical carbon dioxide angiographic injector that received a European MDR certificate in January 2025. Jetfall has completed its clinical trial in China and is expected to receive a Class III medical device regulatory approval in China in the year 2025.
